The university completed the Olympiad Future researchers - the future of science
The final round of the Olympiad “Future Researchers is the Future of Science” in physics was held on the basis of the flagship university of the Belgorod region.
The founders of this competition are the government of the Nizhny Novgorod region, the Nizhny Novgorod State University. N.I. Lobachevsky, Belgorod State Technological University named after V.G. Shukhov, Yaroslavl State Medical Academy Mizdravsotsrazvitiya, Yaroslavl State University. P.G. Demidova, Russian Federal Nuclear Center VNIIEF, Penza State University.
The Olympiad consisted of two rounds: preliminary and final. Students of grades 7-11 were invited to participate. In the preliminary round, held in November 2018, more than five hundred schoolchildren took part. Before the final stage, in turn, more than one hundred and twenty people were admitted.
Center for pre-university training BSTU named after V.G. Shukhov conducted the final stage of the Olympiad at two sites - at the university and at the Center for “Odalennost” (the city of Stary Oskol).
The organizers of the Olympiad noted that this stage had passed in a regular mode and without violation of the established regulations. During the inspection of the works, a high level of schoolchildren was revealed, which indicates the responsibility of young physicists and their teachers. The winners and prize-winners of the Olympiad are waiting for very valuable prizes: they get the opportunity of preferential admission to the leading universities of the country, since the Olympiad "Future Researchers are the Future of Science" is included in the List of Olympiads for schoolchildren giving such opportunities.
