Sergey Glagolev: It is important to understand the problem of cooperation between technical universities and schools

Flagship  university of the Belgorod region - BSTU. Named after V.G. Shukhov  held  a regional seminar "Design and research activities of students as a tool of motivation for engineering and technical creativity" TECHNOLOGY of projects "was held, the purpose of which is to form the motivation of physics teachers to use design and research activities in the educational process.

The seminar was attended by teachers of physics, heads of methodical associations of teachers of physics of municipal territories, teachers of additional technical education institutions of the Belgorod region.

 

 

 

The event was held in the framework of the regional project "Professional self-determination of students" TECHNOLOGY ", initiated by the Department of Education of the Belgorod Region and BSTU named after V.G. Shukhov.

  

The rector of the support university, Sergei Glagolev, welcomed the guests: “In the era of the digital economy, such events are of particular relevance, since a quality education provides the basis for a decent future. Already at school, children should be interested in the natural sciences, and our common task is to help young talents to discover their scientific and creative potentials. Therefore, for further victories, it is necessary to strengthen cooperation between technical, pedagogical universities and schools. BSTU named after V.G. Shukhov is open to new projects and is ready to assist in their implementation.

  

For a better understanding of the issue, the seminar program includes theoretical and practical modules. As part of the theoretical projects, the following projects were presented: “Overtime activities as a factor in the development of students' cognitive activity”, “Research project in physics as a means of implementing the GEF”, “Analysis of the existing educational environment in supplementary education in the natural sciences from the point of view of participants in the educational process”, “Technocanvials”

In turn, in the practical module, the work was organized in groups. The issues of developing learning technologies, the relationship of physics with technical disciplines and the provision of teaching and methodical complexes of physics courses at the level of general secondary education were considered.

 

During the seminar, it was found that the main problems in the educational process are insufficient motivation of students and teachers, weak inter-professional communication and a small percentage of "creativity" in the educational process, and also identified ways to solve them.
