Start up projects: how to write a business plan and manage a project

In the flagship university – BSTU named after  V.G. Shukhov - the seventh training of entrepreneurship school for youth “Business from scratch” was held.

The first mentor was Lyudmila Romanovich, director of the university’s innovation and technology center, giving a presentation on the topic “Business Plan and Project Management Basics”.Students of the school became interested in the positive experience of successful university start-ups, mentor's recommendations on various issues of business planning, project management and presentations to investors.

“It is known that BSTU named after  V.G. Shukhov is recognized as a “factory of startups” and a leader in the infrastructure support of her students, ”said Lyudmila Gennadyevna.

One of the successful startups of the university is Shukhov Motors LLC. Its leader Anton Dikevich told young innovators about his achievements, which became a reality thanks to business planning. And presented a presentation of his business project, which is being successfully implemented at present.

The participants of the training addressed many questions to VeronikaMamatova, a graduate of BSTU named after V.G. Shukhov, manager of the public sector of the Belgorod regional organization of the trade union of workers of the AIC of the Russian Federation. Her practical successful experience aroused considerable interest among the audience.

An interesting and controversial was the presentation of the representative of the micro-credit company Belgorod Regional Fund for the Support of Small and Medium Enterprises, Svetlana Popkova. The speaker told the audience about the requirements of the fund for the business plan for participants of microfinance support programs, and shared recommendations on the issue of project presentation: what is important for an investor?

It should be noted that fifty companies of the university took advantage of various programs of the Belgorod Regional Fund for the Support of Small and Medium-Sized Businesses.

Reference: the business school for youth “Business from scratch” is being implemented with the support of the Federal Agency for Youth Affairs “Rosmolodezh”. The goal of the project is to increase the level of economic literacy of students and the development of youth entrepreneurship in the Belgorod region.
