High school students of Belgorod School No. 45 and the Shukhov Lyceum of the city of Belgorod, studying in specialized IT classes, at the invitation of the Institute of Energy, Information Technologies and Control Systems (IEITUS) visited the departments of the Institute.
The purpose of the visit was to get acquainted with the directions of the institute. Thanks to modern equipped laboratories and visual aids at the Department of Electric Power Industry and Automatics, schoolchildren were able to see the principle of operation of the smart home and the development of students embodied in reality. They familiarized themselves with the purpose of electrical equipment, its types, and were also able to see the principle of operation of an electric bike, created by students together with teachers of the department.
At the department of technical cybernetics, the guys were shown the capabilities of manipulators and robots. They told about projects in which Belgorod schoolchildren can participate, for example, “Collect your robot”, “Scientific battles“ Shukhov battles ”.
“Many future IT-specialists are already participating in projects that are held at the university, speaking at prestigious events in the field of innovative technologies, robotics and mechatronics for young people,” said the Institute.
And for graduates of IEITUS, a regular job fair was held at the university. Representatives of large companies FIT, Softtrast, EFKO, Soft-Union, Belgorodstat spoke to students.
The Director of the Institute, Alexander Belousov, wished the children success in their professional implementation.
