The preparatory faculty of the university received new foreign citizens
The Preparatory Faculty for Foreign Citizens of the Belgorod flagship University – BSTU named after V.G. Shukhov - held the traditional annual dedication of newcomers to the new students.
“Every year the number of students is growing: this year 20 groups took part in the dedication, and today 224 people are considered to be enrolled,” the faculty told.
The festive event organized by teachers for students is held in the format of a championship between groups. Each of the dedicated students of PFI received a badge with the faculty emblem from the curators of the groups as a memory of this event.
The program turned out to be quite rich, a large number of contests aimed at acquaintance with the university, practical jokes, vocal numbers from students and not only.
Graduates of the preparatory faculty for foreign citizens also spoke to the children, they remembered learning Russian and specialized subjects, participating in competitions and achieving victories in competitions, which brought them closer to the dream of becoming a “Technologist” student.
Recall that foreign citizens study at the university since 1991, for this period there were 21 graduations. Today, over 1,800 foreigners study at the university.
