A meeting between the rector of the university, Professor Sergey Glagolev, and the sports activist of BSTU named after V.G. Shukhov was held at the flagship university.
The guests of honor were invited to the meeting: Deputy Head of the Department of Physical Culture and Sports of the Belgorod Region Sergey Dubentsov, Head of the Department of Physical Culture and Sports of the Belgorod City Administration Mikhail Noskov, Deputy Chairman of the Regional Duma Committee on Culture and Sports Alexander Shcheglov.
At the end of the sports year, seven handball players received the title of "Master of Sports of the Russian Federation." And the merits of Igor Neklyudov, who won the silver medal at the European Championship 2017 in the Russian national team, were recognized by the Ministry of Sports as the title “Master of sports of international class”.
The sports season 2017-2018 has become truly successful for handball players. In addition to the second place in the Russian Beach Handball Championship, the guys won “gold” in the classic competition - at the All-Russian Student Universiade.
Handball players received certificates of masters of sports, letters of thanks and silver medals of the Russian championship in beach handball.
