Participants of the program «Architects of the Russian Federation» visited the university
Participants of the program “Architects of the Russian Federation” visited the regional flagship university in order to study successful practices in management and development of the campus.
Architects. The Russian Federation is a free educational training program on key urban development topics for architects, designers, civil servants, as well as senior students of major universities. As part of the program, participants receive up-to-date information on global architectural trends and best practices in architecture and urban planning. The project was initiated by DOM.RF and Institute of media, architecture and design «Strelka» with the support of the Ministry of Housing and Town Planning of the Russian Federation.
Experts conducted an interactive presenting the features of the management of the territory, the formation of public spaces at BSTU named after V.G. Shukhov: Director of Architectural Institute, Honored Architect of the Russian Federation Vitaly Pertsev and Professor, Head of the Department of Architecture and Urban Planning Margarita Perkova. The participants of the educational program were told about the features of the structure of the campus of BSTU named after V.G. Shukhov: pedestrian connections, public spaces, a sports unit and the interaction of interactive sites of the university with the city.
Program participants were able to ask questions, learn more about the interaction of the university with the urban space at the meeting at the Center of High Technologies.
