Issues of pre-university training of foreign citizens were discussed in Moscow
The 2nd International Congress of Lecturers and Heads of the Preparatory Faculties (Departments) of Russian Universities was held at the Peoples' Friendship University of Russia (RUDN). Dean of the Preparatory Faculty for foreign citizens, Ph.D. in Pedagogy Elena Lёgochkina presented the flagship university of the Belgorod Region.
Elena Nikolaevna made a presentation “Adaptation of foreign students to the educational environment of a Russian university” in the framework of the discussion platform “The Phenomenon of Adaptation of a Foreign Student in a Multicultural Educational Space”.
Meetings of heads of preparatory faculties (departments), panel discussions and round tables were held during the work of the congress. Questions on the coordination of the activities of the preparatory departments of federal state educational organizations, implementing additional general education programs, ensuring the preparation of foreign citizens for the development of professional educational programs in Russian were discussed at the congress.
Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Russian Federation, RUDN University, State Institute of the Russian Language named after A.S. Pushkin, Russian Academy of Education, International Non-Profit Partnership of Teachers of Russian Language and Literature (MAPRYAL), Russian Society of Teachers of Russian Language and Literature (RIPRYAL), Foundation “Russian World” organized the Congress.
