Leading scientists of the university presented reports at the congress in Germany

The 20th International Congress on Building Materials was held at Institute of Building Materials named after F. A. Finger (FIB), the division of Bauhaus-Universität Weimar (Germany).

 

More than 600 scientists from 29 countries of the world took part at the congress.

The Russian delegation was represented by scientists who are engaged in transdisciplinary research in the solution of the problems of the new transdisciplinary science of geonics (geomimetics).

 

It should be noted that the scientists of the flagship university published more articles than from all scientists from other Russian universities in the collection of works of the International Congress. These articles focus on the development of composites of a new generation.

The International Congress on Building Materials - Ibausil is held once every three years and is an important event in the building materials industry of the world. For the first time, the International Conference on Building Materials (Ibausil) was held in 1964. One of the main goals of the conference is to bring together researchers from the world's leading universities, as well as representatives of industrial enterprises in the geographical center of Europe. As in the past, today the main focus is the problems of development and use of building materials.
