The University hosted the exposition of a unique photo project about Heroes
A photo exhibition dedicated to the heroes of Belgorod under the symbolic title "Heroes Among Us" was held on September 25 at the flagship university BSTU name after V.G. Shukhov.
Representatives of the university's rector's office, guests, students, employees and mass media took part in the opening ceremony of the exhibition. The exposition was presented at the university square and in the hall of the university's auditorium.
The exhibition was initiated by the Interregional Interbranch Professional Union "Pravda", which, tells and shows students about the exploits of Belgorod compatriots, about the modern history of heroism with the assistance of the Department of Internal and Personnel Policy of Belgorod Region.
The Office of the Federal Service of Troops of the National Guard of the Russian Federation in the Belgorod region was the first who supported the idea of the project and join its implementation. It was the employees and veterans of the department who became the first heroes of the photo project. With the active support of the leadership of Rosgvardia, other power structures joined the photo project.
The students and guests attending the opening had an opportunity to get to know the heroes personally. So, the real Hero of Russia Vyacheslav Vorobyev shared stories from his life and thanked all those involved in organizing and conducting the photo exhibition. Afterwards, in an informal setting, the students had the opportunity to communicate with the hero personally.
