University dance groups are laureates of the first degree of the international festival
A large-scale dance event took place in Voronezh - the International Festival of Contemporary Choreography Gravity.
Flagship University - BSTU. V.G. Shukhov - presented groups of the student palace of culture: dance studio “Danza” and “Dance laboratory of Irina Yatskovskaya” (supervisor Irina Yatskovskaya).
About three thousand participants from 230 dance groups of Belgorod, Moscow, Tula, Tolyatti, Kursk, Krasnodar, Kaliningrad, Samara, Sochi, Rostov-on-Don, Voronezh, St. Petersburg, Orel, Tambov took part in the best concert hall of the Chernozem Region Event-Hall. , Lipetsk, Stavropol and other cities of Russia.
The dancers presented their numbers in three categories: beginners, basic level and professionals. We participated in the nomination "Dance show production" (professionals). This underlines the professional level of training of pupils of both teams.
“Our teams had a common choreographic composition in the style of“ Jazz ”consisting of 33 people. The choreographic composition was distinguished by its high technique of execution along with the originality and richness of the plot. Exclusive decorations gave the room a light aroma of the retro era, ”Irina Yatskovskaya shared her impressions.
At the end of the festival, the university teams won in the most difficult nomination and became the laureates of the first degree. The guys received a high award from the hands of a high-ranking jury member, choreographer of the “Dancing on TNT” program, Aleksey Karpenko.
