Competitions for the best taxi driver were held at the flagship university
On the 14th of September first regional stage of the All-Russian competition of professional skills "The best taxi driver in Russia in 2018" took place at BSTU named V.G. Shukhov .
The event was opened by the rector of the flagship university, Professor Sergei Glagolev. Chancellor noted that the taxi driver is the first who meets guests in a new, unfamiliar city and competitions of this kind help drivers to raise the level of professionalism even more.
The regional stage of the competition was conducted in 4 stages. The first and second stages for the participants were the evaluation of theoretical knowledge of the Rules of the Road, the history of the Belgorod region and the Russian taxi. The third and fourth stage consisted in testing practical skills of driving. Participants passed competitions on time for high-speed maneuvering and smooth driving.
The winners were awarded with diplomas and valuable gifts.
The first place was taken by the graduate of the Department of Exploitation and Organization of Motor Transport of BSTU named after V.G. Shukhov Marina Ermolaeva, who will represent the Belgorod region at the All-Russian competition in the city of Sochi.
The event ended with an amateur car audio championship.
