Students told the Governor of the region on the best volunteer practices of the university
A meeting of the council for ensuring social and political stability and formation of a solidarity society of the Belgorod region dedicated to the Year of Volunteer (volunteer) in Russia was held in Stary Oskol. a regional "Day of Good Deeds" dedicated to the 65th anniversary of the formation of the Belgorod Region also took place within the framework of the council.
Head of Volunteer Center of BSTU named after V.G. Shukhov Anastasia Logvinova and student of 4th year Anastasia Shikareva told the Governor of the region Evgeny Savchenko about the best volunteer practices held at the university, including the launch of the regional project "School of Volunteers of BSTU named after V.G. Shukhov", all areas of activity and a high level of volunteerism development at the university.
Special attention was paid to environmental volunteering and the annual "VUZEKOFEST" festival by the university representatives.
Evgeny Stepanovich proposed to install containers to collect old batteries and gadgets. The governor instructed his colleagues to help students of BSTU named after V.G. Shukhov with the transportation of such containers to the only in Russia battery processing plant located in Chelyabinsk.
