Flagship university is in the Hall of Fame of Belgorod
On August 3, on the eve of the City Day of Belgorod, the regional center hosted the opening of the renewed Hall of Fame. The ceremony was attended by the rector of the university, Professor Sergey Glagolev, representatives of the student associations of BSTU named after V.G. Shukhov, the trade-union organization, heads and employees of structural divisions of the university.
BSTU was presented in two nominations at once. In the nomination "The Best Entrepreneur of Small Business", the board of the LLC "Innovative Technologies and Equipment of Mechanical Engineering" (director - associate professor of the department of engineering technology Evgeny Zhukov, chairman of the trade union organization Sergey Latyshev) was brought to the Board. In the nomination "Best Youth Leader", the university presented a third-year student of the Civil Engineering Institute Pavel Chefranov.
Also Sergey Glagolev as the chairman of the Belgorod City Council, the mayor of Belgorod Konstantin Polezhaev, the deputy of the city council - the chairman of the Belgorod regional organization of the All-Russian trade union of workers of life-support Lyubov Kireeva presented recognition certificates on the best collectives and workers of the city of Belgorod.
The awardees included enterprises, organizations, institutions and employees of the industrial, social and cultural spheres of the city. Enterprises and organizations were selected in 18 categories. Employees were assigned to 22 nominations.
