The technical vision system with neural network recognition was tested at the university
The systems development of image recognition is carried out at the department of technical cybernetics of the flagship university – BSTU named after V.G. Shukhov within a period of about two years. Currently, three projects are being implemented: "Analysis of the traffic situation", "Monitoring of number of students", "Detecting of roof defects".
Since the systems of technical vision surround us in everyday life, they are easily commercialized. Even at the level of student science, such developments do not go unnoticed. For example, the project "Analysis of the traffic situation" was awarded a grant from the President of the Russian Federation in 2018.
The flagship university of Belgorod region has a huge scientific and innovative potential. For many years, BSTU scientists are engaged in scientific research in a wide range of fields of knowledge: from mechanical engineering to economics. the fact that many works are created by students, and their significance and practical application are not inferior to the work of eminent scientists have a particular importance in this matter.
