A graduate student of BSTU named after V.G. Shukhov presented Russia during an internship in Cyprus
The Real Estate Assessment and Management Department (REAM) of the flagship university continues to develop international scientific and educational activities.
young scientists of BSTU have the opportunity to improve their professional skills and exchange their experience with leading European universities and companies thanks to the international academic exchange program IAESTE.
Senior lecturer, graduate student of the REAM department Maria Krutilova undergoes a research and manufacturing practice at the Department of Construction of the municipality of Germasogeia (Limassol).
Within a month, Maria will have fruitful work on the examination of design estimates, the issuance of permits for the construction of buildings and structures in the municipality.
The internship will also allow to establish contacts with the Department of Construction and Geomatics of the Cyprus University of Technology (CUT) and further develop scientific joint activities.
Maris is eligible to do an internship thanks to the approval of the Cyprus National Committee of the Association for Academic Exchange of Students and Young Scientists IAESTE.
This year, 14 young scientists from different universities (Great Britain, Norway, Poland, Czech Republic, Belgium, Austria, Serbia, etc.) are undergoing internship in Cyprus. And only one representative from Russia - graduate student and lecturer of BSTU named after V.G. Shukhov. Engineers from different countries can exchange their knowledge and experience in related fields (Polytechnic University of Valencia, Graz Technical University, Technical University in Brno, Czech Republic, University of Ghent, other).
