Foreigners painted matryoshkas at the university master class
A master class on painting matryoshkas was held in the summer language school «Study + Leisure» of the flagship university of BSTU named after V.G. Shukhov.
Matryoshka is one of the main symbols of Russian culture. It is this doll that foreign tourists bring home as a souvenir, and, showing it to their friends and colleagues, they say: «Look - this is a doll. Real, Russian! ». Students of the language school can take with them a piece of Russian culture created by their own hands.
The students were offered several options for painting: repeat any of the well-known matryoshkas, show imagination and do something similar to the traditional style, or - completely immerse themselves in the creative process and create a unique, author's doll.
