The third stage of the «Path of Power» competition was held at the university in the Belgorod region
The third stage of the championship in the military-sports test «Path of Power» was held at the recreation center of BSTU named after V.G. Shukhov in the Borisovka district. This time the competitions were timed to coincide with the 300th anniversary of the Russian police.
Deputy head of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia in the Belgorod region Vladimir Zhigailo, head of the department for physical culture and sports of the city of Belgorod Mikhail Noskov and three-time world champion in combat sambo Vadim Nemkov took part in the opening ceremony of the championship.
According to the results of the third stage, the Belgorod team «Legion» won. The second place was taken by «Rusichi» from Prokhorovka, and third place was given to the club «Olimpiets».
The head of the sports and patriotic club «Belogor» of the flagship university Alexey Yarmak is the author of the project «Path of Power», awarded this year with a presidential grant. The law enforcement agencies provide active support to the organizers of the military-sports test.
In addition to ensuring the safety of the championship, police officers prepared demonstration performances. The fighters of the special division «Thunder» demonstrated combat methods of fighting. Dog handlers with their four-legged partners showed a master class on searching for banned substances and detaining a conditional criminal.
The exhibition of weapons and special equipment, which were in service with the employees of the internal affairs bodies, was organized.
The next round of the competition is scheduled for August 28.
