University staff member - the gold medalist of the chess tournament
The XXII international chess tournament "Voronezh-2018" Alikhin Memorial was held in Voronezh in June.
Director of the Center for High Technologies of the Scientific and Research Centre Mikhail Lebedev represented the Belgorod regional flagship university – BSTU named after V.G. Shukhov.
Candidate for master of sports in chess Mikhail Lebedev won the second most important ranking tournament FIDE Open (for chess players with ratings less than 2200 and without ratings), gaining 7.5 points out of 9.
As a result of the tournament, Mikhail Sergeyevich was awarded with the Cup and a medal for the 1st place.
