The flagship university took part in the patriotic action «The Wave of Memory». BSTU named after V.G. Shukhov joined the numerous delegations of the leadership of the region and the regional center, enterprises representatives, organizations, educational institutions.
It should be reminded, that the Day of Remembrance and Sorrow is celebrated in Russia today. The Great Patriotic War began 77 years ago. The flagship university recalls this memorable date and participates in the memorial events that are taking place today in Belgorod.
Also, on the night of June 22, students of BSTU named after V.G. Shukhov joined the city's heroic and patriotic action «The Longest Day of the Year» and the «Lighting the Candles» action. According to the organizers - the museum-diorama «Kursk battle. Belgorod direction» - such actions perpetuate the bright memory of the fallen in the Great Patriotic War, who gave their lives for their homeland, who liberated peoples from fascism.
