The team of BSTU named after V.G. Shukhov took the second prize in the first stage of the Russian Beach Handball Championship
The first round of the Russian Beach Handball Championship among men's teams was completed in Yeysk. In total, 7 teams competed for the first place.
The team of the regional flagship university «Technolog-Spartak» became the second, losing 2 points to «Ekaterinodar» (Krasnodar). The coaches of the team are the honored coach of Russia, the head of the Department of Physical Education and Sports Sergey Kramskoy and the Honored Coach of Russia Sergey Yarkovoy.
Shukhov's handball team won 2-0 over the teams of Yeysk, the Olympic Training Center for the beach sports of Krasnodar and the silver medalist of last year Spartak (Cherkessk). Also, «Technolog-Spartak» beat the team of Pavlovskaya stanitsa and their doubles «Spartak-Reefs». They competed with the three-time winner of the European Champions Cup «Ekaterinodar» in the last game.
Sergey Kramskoy noted the game of the second team of «Spartak-Reefs», which also took part in the first stage of the Championship.
The second round of the Championship will take place in the city of Cherkesk, the third round will be held in Pavlovsk, the fourth - at the sports complex of BSTU.
