Tournament on football among foreign citizens has started at BSTU named after V.G. Shukhov
Annual football tournament among foreign students «Friendship Cup», dedicated to the opening of the World Cup in Russia, has started at the regional flagship university.
The tournament is organized by the foreign students department with the support of the Department of Physical Education and Sports.
10 teams from Angola, Afghanistan, Benin, Zambia, Cameroon, Congo, Guinea, Ghana, Nigeria and the Arab Students' Team will participate this year in the competition.
The tournament will take place during a two-week period in an open area football field near the pool № 1 of BSTU named after V. G. Shukhov.
The results will be summed up and the national team is formed at the end of the tournament. The awarding of prize-winners and the best players will also be held.
