The VI International Youth Forum «Moral Imperatives in Law, Science, Education and Culture» took place at BSTU named after V.G. Shukhov
Rector of the University, Professor Sergey Glagolev, Dean of the Transfiguration Cathedral of Belgorod, Protopriest Oleg Kobets, Chairman of the Board «Association of Orthodox Scientists2, Rector of the Holy Virgin Protection Church p. Otradnoe Kashirsky deanery of the Voronezh and Borisoglebsk dioceses, Archpriest Gennady Zaridze opened the Forum.
Rector of the Transfiguration Cathedral in Belgorod, archpriest Oleg Kobets handed over the archpastoral blessing from Metropolitan John of Belgorod and Stary Oskol, greeted participants and guests of the event.
The ideological inspirer of the event, Protopriest Gennady Zaridze congratulated all those present with the forum and sincerely thanked the guests for their presence.
At the opening ceremony of the forum, the prize winners of the competitions were awarded. The most important competition was «Moral imperatives in law, education, science and culture».
The forum gathered young people from many cities of Russia: Belgorod, Voronezh, Vladimir, Yelets, Kursk, Lipetsk, Moscow, Orel, Ryazan, Tambov. In addition, there are participants from the Republic of Belarus, Ukraine, Donetsk People Republic, Lugansk People Republic, Poland, Bulgaria, Angola, Congo, Ecuador and Madagascar. Among them, future doctors, educators, psychologists, lawyers, sociologists, political scientists, as well as priests. More than 200 people took part in the event.
Within the framework of the forum there is a plenary and sectional meeting, as well as the International Youth Poetry Contest and the stage of the Central Federal District of the All-Russia Interuniversity Olympiad on Spiritual and Moral Culture.
