Students of the flagship university visited the sugar refinery «NIKA»
The Scientific and Methodological Center for Professional Adaptation and Employment of Specialists jointly with the Department of Mechanical Equipment with the support of the rector's office organized an excursion for students (group MOP-36) on the production facilities of the sugar refinery «NIKA» which is branch of «Rusagro» company, situated in the town of Pyatnitskaya, Volokonovsky district, Belgorod region.
Natalia Tolstykh, the leading recruitment specialist, presented the program of employment of young specialists for the company's enterprises, told about the measures of social support for graduates of universities. She said that at the first stage (internship) a young specialist during the whole period receives 30,000 rubles. Promising graduates work at the «NIKA» refinery; the company pays for two years renting housing or provides its own housing stock.
Also within the framework of the tour a round table was held. The directors of the enterprise Andrey Samonov met with future engineers and invited to practice and get employed in the company. He noted that the sugar business line of the «Rusagro» company feels the need for highly qualified engineers.
The events of this format introduce the future graduates to the production process; give an opportunity to talk with practitioners and «Successful BSTU graduates», to hear firsthand about the prospects for employment, professional and career development of young professionals.
