Winners of the «We are Belgorod people! Think, decide, act» contest were awarded at the regional flagship university.
Deputy Governor of the Belgorod Region, Head of the Education Department of the Belgorod Region Natalia Poluyanova, rector of BSTU named after V.G. Shukhov Professor Sergey Glagolev, representatives of the rector's office of the flagship university became the guests of the event.
BSTU named after V.G. Shukhov together with the regional department of education holds a competition «We are Belgorod people! Think, decide, act» for the seventh time at the initiative of the governor of the Belgorod region Eugene Savchenko.
During this period, more than 24 thousand schoolchildren took part in this eventt, 153 of them became prize-winners, including those from the Republic of Crimea and the city of St. Petersburg.
Natalia Poluyanova made a welcoming speech. She noted the quality of the work done by students, promising ideas and excellent work.
Rector of the university Sergey Glagolev greeted the guests: «Every year the activity of the contestants’ increases. It's getting harder to choose the best project. But we do it. Of course, today the best people have gathered here. And it is you who will become the future of Belgorod».
A second - year student of ITEMM, prize winner of the competition 2014, Ignatiy Martynov and Grand Prize winner of the competition 2017, Jennifer Letkemann gave a speech. They talked about their experience of participating in competitions.
At the end of the statement in a solemn atmosphere, Natalia Poluyanova and Sergey Glagolev awarded the prize-winners of the contest.
