70 students of BSTU named after V.G. Shukhov passed the exam on Ready to Work and Defense standards
The summer stage of the Ready to Work and Defense standards within the framework of the 44th Sports and Athletic meeting of the flagship university among the institutes of the 2017-2018 academic year was held at BSTU named after V. G. Shukhov.
Seven teams from our university took part in the competition.
Each team consisted of 10 participants: 5 girls and 5 guys. Students fought for the best result in the 100 meters’ race, 2 km race. (girls) and 3 km. (guys), long jump and swimming.
Teachers of the sports department: the coach of the swimming team of BSTU named after V.G. Shukhov Sergey Dremov and the coach of the women's basketball team, the senior teacher Boris Bukhalo, together with the students, passed the exam on standards (running and swimming).
Chief judge of the competition Sergey Voskovsky shared: «I would like to mention all students who took part in the competition, their desire to achieve better results. All participants took the event very seriously and in good faith, passed all the tests with understanding».
The university team that will take part in the regional stage of the Ready to Work and Defense standards festival, which will be held on May 24 in the sports club "Burevestnik" will be formed following the results of two stages.
