University handball players beat the team from Rostov
Two games of the last preliminary stage of the Russian Handball Championship among men's teams of the higher league were completed in the regional flagship university.
Athletes of BSTU named after V.G. Shukhov fought with a strong and qualified team «DSTU-Leader» (Rostov-on-Don). The competition began with a score of 11: 1. The first time ended with a score of 21:10, and the second - 37:24.
The coach of the team - the head of the Department of Physical Education and Sports Sergey Kramskoy commented: «We played this game thanks to the excellent game of goalkeeper Sergey Rusinov, who showed 50% of the reliability for the game. He perfectly reflected the rivals' rushes and started counterattacks».
The second time began with a score of 2:1, and then 4:1. The players of the «Technolog» led the whole game. The first time of the second game ended with the result 17:13. The second time ended with a difference of just two goals. The game finished with the score - 35:27.
