The competitions on the «Russian wall» were held at the flagship university
On December 20, 2013 the sports and patriotic club «Belogor» presented the sports contest «Russian wall» at the flagship university. It is interesting that the idea of the title - «Russian wall» belongs to the head of the Department of Physical Education and Sports of the University, Sergey Kramskoy.
The event is held for the 4th time with the support of the physical culture and sports of Belgorod among the institutes of BSTU named after V.G. Shukhov. The hero of Russia Vyacheslav Vorobyov became the honored guest of the event.
Four teams took part in the competition: The Engineering and Construction Institute was represented by «Start» team, the Transport and Technology Institute – «Charge», the Institute of Energy, Information Technologies and Control Systems – «Bears» and the foreign student team «Bulat».
The guys were playing on the same level, demonstrated their skills. The team «Start» was able to snatch victory from the team «Bears» during the last bout. Thus, this team received the honorary title of «Indestructible wall». It is gratifying that the team of foreign students «Bulat», which participated for the first time in the competition, showed good training and took the honorary third place. The team «Charge» took fourth place.
The national contest «Russian wall» is intended to revive the Slavic traditions, to raise the strength of spirit, to strengthen faith in the team and unity.
