Students of BSTU named after V.G. Shukhov took the third place at the All-Russian Olympiad
BSTU team won the third place at the All-Russia Olympiad «Computer technologies in mechanical engineering». University team participated in the competition for the fourth time. Intellectual competitions were held in Samara Polytechnic University, the flagship regional university.
Within a few days, students designed an electronic-digital model of a milling tool-rig for the production of aircraft chassis.
The Olympiad participants, more than 70 representatives from 17 cities of Russia, performed work in one of the computer-aided design systems in the nominations «Compass 3D», «SolidWorks» and «NX». The post graduate student from the Institute of Technological Equipment and Mechanical Engineering of BSTU Alexey Lebach took the second place.
Also, the students of the flagship regional university won the third place in the personal team classification.
