A training school for teaching staff was held at the university
Within the framework of young teachers’ decade «Pedagogical Spring», a training school for teaching staff «From Innovations in Pedagogy to Innovations in Production» was held at the Small Technological University and the Regional Resource Center «School League» of BSTU.
During the event, 43 young lecturers from the Belgorod educational institutions visited the RSC «School League» and STA-studio, where they got acquainted with innovative meta-subject technologies, with the experience of the employees of the Small Technological University.
The head of the RSC «School League» Vitaly Vasneva spoke about the opportunities for cooperation with the university. She also talked about vacation programs for schoolchildren, educational projects, introduced the activities of STA-studios, conducted master classes and involved everyone in gaming.
The following technologies were considered in detail:
- Case-method, which actively used during the vacation engineering site «Naukograd NIKA». Case method is a method of analyzing specific situations, where students learn to analyze situations, study the essence of the problem, develop and propose possible solutions.
- games and exercises used in the training school for high school students, which can be used at school.
- Additional education with implementation of STA-studio educational modules.
At the end of the day, many lecturers were interested in the proposed technologies, noted the enthusiasm of the BSTU STU staff, signed up for further training seminars and outlined a number of interesting joint events.
