Professor from Belgorod State Technological University named after V.G. Shukhov awarded the Appreciation letter from the Russian President
The governor of the Belgorod region Yevgeny Savchenko presented more than 60 state and regional awards at the meeting of the Belgorod Regional Duma.
The best of the best: doctors, teachers, workers of the agrarian sector, the largest industrial enterprises, scientists, representatives of culture and sports gathered in the meeting room.
«I am sincerely glad that today's ceremony is notable for its large number, and this is not an accident, but a regularity. The large number of the best workers from Belgorod region gathered here demonstrates that the majority of Belgorod residents work selflessly, achieve excellent results, and, most importantly, are ready to meet new ambitious goals for the benefit of their region and improve the quality of life for Belgorod citizens», the governor emphasized.
The Doctor of Technical Sciences, Professor of the Institute of Technological Equipment and Mechanical Engineering of the flagship regional university Vasily Bogdanov took part at this event. Vasily Stepanovich was awarded the Appreciation letter from the Russian President for merits in scientific and pedagogical activity, long-term conscientious work.
It should be reminded that for several years, V.S. Bogdanov headed the Institute of Technological Equipment and Mechanical Engineering (ITOM) which is part of BSTU named after V. G. Shukhov.
