Regional flagship University will cooperate with the prestigious university of Vietnam

Rector of the flagship university, BSTU named after V.G. Shukhov, Professor Sergey Glagolev took part in the VII International Scientific and Technical Conference «Solving Environmental Problems in the Construction and Real Estate».

The representative forum was organized by the Moscow State Building University and Ho Chi Minh University of Architecture and was held in Ho Chi Minh City (Vietnam). The conference was attended by scientists from 10 countries and 16 representatives of the academic community from Russia.

The purpose of the conference is to exchange opinions on the most important scientific and technical (technological) achievements in the process of urbanization and to develop solutions to the environmental problems of urban areas in order to obtain information necessary for regional and municipal legislative and executive bodies in making managerial and organizational economic decisions in the construction and real estate.

 

Rector S.N. Glagolev became a participant in the official signing ceremony of interuniversity agreements. In particular, a cooperation agreement was signed between BSTU named after V.G. Shukhov and Ho Chi Minh University of Architecture (rector Mr. Le Van Thuong).

«Ho Chi Minh University is a prestigious educational institution in Vietnam in the field of architecture and civil engineering. Obviously, our universities have much in common. The architectural and engineering-construction areas of training are operating successfully in BSTU. They traditionally have significant demand among applicants. Especially there is highly selective university admission test for these specializations. This makes it all the more interesting for us to share our work experience, to find out which areas of training are developing, to provide some interesting pipelines», Sergey Glagolev emphasized.

The universities agreed to promote mutually beneficial cooperation aimed at developing and updating scientific and innovative programs, providing high-quality training, retraining, improving the skills of specialists, based on the principles of equality and mutual benefit, creating the necessary conditions for this.

The sessions of the conference sections considered issues related to formation of basic principles for the management of natural and anthropogenic systems of large cities, the ecologization of the residential environment, energy saving, environmental rehabilitation and risk management for sustainable urban development, and integrated analysis of the life cycle of the built-up area were.

  

 

«Conducting the conference is a logical continuation of the activities of scientists, ecologists, architects, builders, economists and specialists of other areas working on the issue of increasing the ecological potential of urbanized areas and ensuring environmental safety of the population», said the chairman of the conference organizing committee, Department of Organization of Construction and Real Estate Management of the Moscow State Building University, Doctor of Economics, Professor Peter Graboviy.
