Students celebrated Pancake week at the orphanage

The Student Council of building professionals of the Department of Construction and Urban Management visited the Razumensky orphanage on the pancake week. Orphanage pupils prepared a concert for the guests with an entertainment program, so that, according to the national tradition, it would be fun to spend the winter and bring the approach of spring.

The children sang couplets and folk songs, played traditional Russian instruments and read poetry. The hosts of the celebration made up a lot of outdoor games and contests so that children can stay warm. Pupils danced, ran the baton, played catch-ups, drove roundels and dragged the rope together with the guests.

No celebration without the Bear Mikhail, who frolicked, played with the kids and warmed them up with its plush arms.

At the end of the event, the participants burned the stuffed, and then traditionally they were treated to pancakes and herbal tea. During tea ceremony, the students talked to the children, answered their questions about studying at the university and told what it means to be a real BSTU student.
