BSTU named after V.G.Shukhov–in the top 20 of the most demanded engineering universities of the country
The creators of the project "Social Navigator" byIIA "Russia Today" calculated the demand for higher education institutions from the Russian economy. The national rating of the demand for higher education institutions of the Russian Federation was compiled from assessments of the demand for graduates of employers, the commercialization of intellectual products and other criteria.
The main university of the Belgorod region entered the rating of engineering universities, took 19th place and turned out to be the University of the Central Chernozem macroregion, caught up in the top twenty, which will raise the rating of its graduates and demand for them among employers.
There are 448 universities were evaluated. Classical, agricultural, humanitarian and medical universities are included in the rating, but engineering leaders are the leaders in terms of "the share of funds in the budget from research". On average, this figure is 15.6% of the university budget.
