Identified the prospects for cooperation
On the 6th of December our university was visited by delegation of the Kingdom of Morocco.
As part of the successful cooperation between BSTU named after V.G. Shukhov and the Ibn Zohr University (Agadir). It is not the first visit of a friendly country to our university. In September 2014 BSTU named after V. G.Shukhov already received delegation from Morocco. During the last visit, the delegation met with the rector of the university, Professor S.N. Glagolev and shared their first impressions of their stay at the university, noting the beauty and uniqueness of the campus, grooming, as well as the convenience of the location of educational and residential buildings, social infrastructure.
During the meeting the parties had agreed to sign an agreement on mutual cooperation and outlined concrete steps. Rector of our university, prof. S.N. Glagolev noted that our universities have good prospects for cooperation and the ability to raise the relationship to a new level.
This time the guests were representatives of Ibn Zohr University - Professor Mustafa Sakha, Professor Driss Agliz and professor Bushra Shebli.
The purpose of the visit is the exchange of experience in the field of education and science, the establishment of cooperation in the field of alternative energy, and the search for joint development of new innovative technologies.
The representatives of Morocco are planning to devote to acquaintance with the Energy Institute, information technology and control systems, where together with the director of the department, Professor A.V. Belousov will share their experience of their own development in the field of alternative energy. The parties will also discussed internship of scientific and teaching staff, students and graduate students in related universities.
During the stay delegation will identify priorities for further cooperation.
