Netherlands: growing interest to Russia
On the 28th of June head of the Dutch-Russian Center for interuniversity cooperation Yerko Ferskhoor had visited our university.
Our guest visited the Institute of technological equipment and machinery and Center of High Technology, most modern equipment dispatching of the university, a rich collection of exhibits of museum and exhibition complex. Yerko Ferskhooru was impressed of the Department of Materials Science and Materials Technology and their successful development in the field of nanostructured components, production of a new generation of building materials, developed innovative technologies for the construction industry enterprises.
First Vice-Rector of the University, prof. N.A. Shapovalov met the head of Dutch-Russian Center for Interuniversity Cooperation. During the discussion guest offered joint educational projects for the development of relations with the Higher School of the Netherlands and other European countries. They discussed issues of student exchange with the further possibility of signing an agreement on the preparation of double degrees.
Guest was deeply satisfied with visit to the BSTU named after V.G. Shukhov, noting the high level of education and the organization of scientific work at the university.
