Learn to the benefit of Angola

On April 22 at Belgorod State Technological University named after V.G. Shukhov hosted a conference on urgent issues for the development of the Republic of Angola.

The conference was organized on the initiative of the Angolan students. It is attended by about a hundred young Angolans who receive higher education in the university affinity groups of Belgorod, Voronezh and Moscow. It is significant that the students want to work out a common view, to hear each other to consolidate their efforts to implement the plans. These students are distinguished by a high sense of patriotism and organization skills. They are already thinking about how to bring contribution to their people and their home country. The session started with the national anthem.

Presentations were made in Portuguese and caused a heated discussion, which indicates that the event was approached informally, the topics and proposed solutions are really important for every Angolan.

Despite his youth, an aspiring scientist has published three books. The first of them - "Elementary Mathematics" was published in 2014, it is addressed to students and those entering the Russian universities. Casimiro is sure that this publication will enable applicants to increase their knowledge on the subject, and in the future will help to better absorb the material. The second - "Mathematics. In the world of numbers "is addressed to a wide audience, and tells about the history of numbers, there are interesting problems and games, the book provides a variety of interesting hypotheses related to mathematics.

Inspired by the success of the readers, the author has started the third one, which is presented at the conference. It is dedicated to the issues of the algebraic design in the economy. Casimiro Errineltu pays great attention to mathematics, because this subject is the basis of knowledge on the economic and technical sciences.

"Our young people are learning with pleasure. Education in our country plays a huge role. We have 36 universities, and they are both public and private educational institutions. Gradually our compatriots replace foreign teachers. I was also invited to teach at the University. Of course, I am a professor - confidently said our interlocutor. Many members of the Angolan elite were educated in the Soviet Union or Russia, so in this country there is special attitude to Russia and the Russian language. Currently, almost 3,000 Angolans are being trained in Russia.

As explained by one of the organizers of the conference, the student BSTU named V.G. Shukhov Kiteri Kaladissa Silva: "Currently, the universities of Belgorod ( BSTU, NRU BSU, Belgorod university of economics, cooperation and law, Belgorod Agricultural University named after V. Gorin) has about 150 students, undergraduates, graduate students from Angola"

"We learn from you", - concluded our conversation Casimiro Errineltu. The participants warmly thanked BSTU management and personally the Rector, prof. S.N. Glagolev for giving the opportunity to get together in BSTU conference hall to discuss the important issues.
