Mini-football game for foreigners
Students from Turkmenistan, Afghanistan, Nigeria and Ghana took part at the mini-football game.
At the first match the Afghanistan’s team met with students from Ghana. Regular time ended 0: 0 and in a penalty shootout luck was on the side of the of Afghanistan’s team 4: 2.
At the second game the team from Turkmenistan met with students from Nigeria, where most of the time ended with the score 0: 0, and in the penalty shootout students from Nigeria won with a score of 3: 1.
In the match for third place Ghana’s team met Turkmenistan’s team. Turkmenistan tem won with the score 1:1 (2:0).
In the final game the team from Nigeria played against Afghanistan students - 2: 0. Students from Nigeria won the first Christmas Cup.
Supervisor of this competition, the head of the foreign students department-Dmitry said that this game attracted a lot of interest among students. There were more than 60 participants in this event. Such competition is planned to be traditional to maintain a healthy lifestyle and uniting students from different countries.
