Carting Teams getting prepared
On September 13, 2014,"Virage" car sport complex will held a Car festival in honor of the 60th anniversary of Belgorod State Technological University named after V.G. Shukhov. We remind that the competition will be attended by teams from all institutes of the University, as well as team from Belgorod Institute of engineering and economics and preparatory faculty for foreign citizens.
Currently cart teams are under formation. And now we already can introduce the first team - it includes representatives of the faculty and administrative staff of the university: Vice-Rector for International Relations, Prof. R.V. Lesovik, director of organizational and analytical center G.V. Shekhovtsov, Director of Public Relations and Media O.A. Archibasova, head of organizational and analytical department K.B. Bityutskii, executive secretary of the admission committee S.B. Bulgakov, head of contracts and agreements department A.O. Lyutenko, head of research work administration E.A. Yakovlev, Director of the Center for High Technology S.V. Karatsupa, Head of International students Department D.S. Nosachev, Head of the Department of Architecture M.V. Perkova.
On August 11, at the meeting of team members Vice-Rector for International Affairs Ruslan Lesovik was elected a team captain.
All those who are interested in joining the team to participate in the carting competition on September 13, 2014 may contact Svetlana Lesovaya, office 221 in the main academic building or by phone 55-15-91.
The pioneers from the students team became 5 future electrical engineers and a faculty member Pyotr Roshubkin/ power engineering department.
On August 12 the young people came to «Virage» club for training. They booked the carting area in advance. When arrived they were given a uniform and accessories and briefly instructed. Alexander Belousov, director of the Institute wished the team a good luck.
Professor Sergey Glagolev, Rector of the University came up to young people while they were getting ready. Sergey Nikolaevich has been actively involved in carting and promotes it among the youth. He shared his secrets in driving this type of a car and offered the best ones to try his professional cart. Pyotr Roshubkin and Ksenia Prudyakova were the best, having shown the results of 24,48 and 25,50 respectively.

The students’ team from Power Engineering institute still has a chance to get ready and, possibly, get an award at the event on September 13.
