Impressed by masterpieces of Aivazovsky
Staff of preparatory faculty of foreign students made a surprise for the participants of summer language school "Education + vacation" by organizing a trip to a local art museum. There was a unique exhibition of paintings by Ivan K. Aivazovsky. 27 paintings from the collections of museums from all over the Russia were presented: from Vologda, Ivanovo, Kostroma, Yaroslavl and Rybinsk. In addition to works by the famous seascape painter the students could see the works of his grandchildren - Michael Pelopidovich Latri and Alexey Hansen, and two portraits of I.K. Aivazovsky made by the contemporaries of the artist
The participants of summer language school learned a lot about the artist, for example, that the author was better in painting from the memory. Kuindzhi was his apprentice.
The students have an interesting program ahead, which includes a tour to the National Park "Prokhorovka", trip to Holkovsky underground church, and other places of interest.
