Learning Russian is exciting

 

In 2012 (after 20 years of being on the 6th-7th positions) the Russian language again was ranked the fourth in the world in the prevalence (rating guide to the world's languages ​​Ethnologue, SIL Internaional). Currently, according to experts the demand for the "great and mighty" Russian language has  greatly increased.
The Department of the Russian language natural sciences of BSTU are also making their own contribution. The Department of Russian Language and natural sciences is a team of creative teachers. Its mastermind- the Head of Department, Associate Professor, PhD, E.N. Legochkina always encourages her employees to follow "creative and innovative approach to teaching."

   


Conducting teaching workshops at the Department of Russian Language and natural sciences has become a tradition. Teachers of the department generously share their teaching ideas , demonstrate efficient use of information technology and Internet resources in teaching Russian as a foreign language. Internet technologies give the teacher a unique opportunity – facilitating the information grasp.
"How to teach Russian language in an interesting and effective way?" Answers to this question were highlighted at a master class, prepared by a young teacher of N.V. Shmorgunova.
The lesson demonstrated is part of the lessons on general command of Russian as a foreign language and is aimed at mastering the topic "The verbs of motion with prefixes." The class offers a system of exercises to work on fixing the grammar and vocabulary skills. Natalia Shmorgunova told about how "to teach and learn by playing." In the classroom the teacher showed methodological workshop tasks aimed at developing skills in students linguistic and cultural aptitude through the use of teaching games.
The master class was attended by the faculty staff and invited guests - interns from France and Turkey - the future teachers of Russian as a foreign language. All of them noted the friendly atmosphere of the lesson, the variety of innovative techniques and technologies in teaching Russian as a foreign language.
Moono Betty, an intern from France, expressed admiration for the staff of the Department, where "all share their teaching ideas and achievements. Classes of French teachers are attended only by an inspector to check. "
