Academic exchange contributing to the Russian Language Learning

"The study of the Russian language should be mandatory for all Slavic peoples ..." ... this is how Momcilo Savic defined the status of the Russian language. The young man came from Serbia for internship and is currently being trained at the Russian Language Department. Next year, he will graduate from the Philosophy Faculty of the University of Nis in the specialty "Russian language and literature." In the future, the young man is planning to devote his life to the Russian language. Here is his opinion of the Russian language and his internship training at BSTU: "The Russian language is a very beautiful and interesting language. Since we are all brothers-Slavs, the study of Russian as a foreign language should be mandatory for the Slavic peoples, it helps to better understand the culture of a country, which is very close in spirit to our own country. "
Momcilo Savic internship lasted a month. During this time, he attended a course on methods of teaching Russian as a foreign language, visited the workshops of teachers of the department. And conducted a practical class with the students of preparatory faculty for foreign students. The lesson was conducted in a warm, personal atmosphere and was appreciated both by the board of examiners and the students. Upon completion of the training the future Russian language teacher  from Serbia will take an examination in Russian language teaching, applied to foreign learners.

In turn, T.P. Matyushkina, a senior lecturer, worked in Nis (Serbia) within the program to promote Russian as a foreign language in 2012.
Recently, E. Legochkina, head of the Department, attended the conference, held at the University of Nish.

22 foreign students have been trained in the Russian language at Belgorod State Technological University named after V.G. Shukhov in 2012, by the program of student exchanges. The geography student academic mobility includes countries like France, Serbia, Turkey, Bulgaria, Syria.

An increasingly prominent place in the international activities of the Russian language department is the organization of summer courses. In 2012, the summer courses taught 8 students from France.

In conclusion, it should be noted that this kind of cooperation with foreign partner universities will contribute to the effective integration of the university into the European and global educational systems. A study of methods of teaching Russian as a foreign language, will help to its spread to other countries.
