On June 6-7, a representative of BSTU named after V. Shukhov, deputy director of the Center for International Education and Cooperation E.S.Krasnoperova visited Hulunbuir University in Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region (North China).
The purpose of the visit of our expert was the signing of a memorandum of cooperation between our universities under the program "4 + 1". This program states that Chinese students will study the Russian language in Hulunbuir University before they come to BSTU, and then master their future profession at our school for four academic years. It is planned that the next academic year the number of foreign students from the University of Hulunbuir will reach 100 people.
On June 8-9, Elena Krasnoperova met with our counterpart – a representative of the International Centre of Shandun University, one of the oldest Chinese Universities and deputy vice-rector of this prestigious university. The visit of our representative to China resulted in signing a cooperation agreement with Shandun University outlining double –degree programs in "Economics" and "Construction", which will allow hundreds of students to gain invaluable experience of studying abroad, to significantly expand the scope of their knowledge and thus increase their chances for successful employment. In the future, starting from this year, our university will start academic activity with this famous university.
According to E.S.Krasnoperova all meetings were held in a warm and friendly atmosphere. The parties exchanged gifts, books and souvenirs, which complemented the collection of our museums universities.
