Visit of «Siemens» company delegation
On May 27, the delegation of «Siemens Products Lifecycle Management Software (RU) » company arrived on a business visit to BSTU named after V.G. Shoukhov. The delegation was represented by the following members:Yuri Kudrikov, chief sales officer, Olga Akulova, marketing director in Eastern Europe, Olga Koptsova, head specialist in marketing and partners association in the Eastern Europe. The purpose of the visit was a tour of BSTU named after V.G. Shoukhov and negotiating further cooperation issues concerning educational and international activity. The company representatives valued the Shoukhov University contribution to the development of bilateral relations, as stated at the meeting with Lesovik V.S., the first vice-chancellor on scientific, innovative and international activity. Olga Akulova, marketing director in Eastern Europe pointed out the efforts of the university research staff in the area of introducing Siemens software into the academic process, she also stressed, that our university is one of the leaders in Russian higher education in developing methodology of technical systems use in the study process. As a result of the fruitful dialogue, the parties reached the agreement to make Belgorod Shoukhov university the venue for the international conference, focusing on the issues of introducing Siemens technical systems into the process of specialists training.
