Soccer friendship
For the first time Belgorod state Shukhov University held a soccer competition among international students, who study at our university. The event was organized by International Students Union of the technological university. As usual, the students received much care and attention from the staff of the preparatory faculty and physical education & sports department. Six teams from Asia, Arabic States, Afghanistan, Kazakhstan, Cambodia, Latin America joined the competition.
For two weeks our teams demonstrated persistence in fighting for top positions. Teams of Latin America and Arabic States reached the finals, and after an exciting final game they were placed the first and the second. The third place on the podium was given to Afghanistan team. However, everyone was able to benefit from the victory including team players, spectators, fans, because it was friendship that won. Friendship between the students, countries and continents.
