Winter holidays
During winter holidays students of Preparatory faculty for foreign citizens had known a lot of new and interesting things.
Students` tutors organized many excursions to help them to adapt to contemporary Russian life. Students listened to lectures on New Year celebration in Russia, had excursion to circus, to museum, to sport school, where they rode and skated; visited the contest “The best Russian Santa Clause”; took part in the traditional party “Good evening, generous evening”, devoted to “Old New Year”, celebration.
During these events students could feel the atmosphere of Russian New Year holidays due to lectures about them, to their participation in Russian national customs, traditions, dances, contests and plays.
Students liked these events very much: “It was very interesting and useful for us to take part in these New Year parties. We will never forget the New Year holidays in Russia!”.
