The university extends the holidays for lovers of walks and winter sports
On the base of flagship university – BSTU named after V.G. Shukhov - created the conditions for sports and recreation. Both for students and university staff, and for citizens. The university campus, decorated for the New Year holidays, still sparkles with festive colors and invites students, employees, citizens, guests of Belgorod to take a walk around the territory of the university, to take colorful photos.
And to the popular festivities during the New Year holidays, the university offers an alternative - winter sports. To this end, a free skating rink has been open for a whole month. The ice rink of the university, built a few years ago, every year becomes a favorite vacation spot for Shukhov residents and residents of the southern microdistrict of the city of Belgorod.
Recall that the free skating rink is located in the southwestern part of the university campus (behind the military department) and receives guests daily from 14:00 to 22:00.
Anyone can come here with his inventory and ride until the closing of the rink without time limit. Novice athletes who do not have their own skates, can use the rental, located in the hostel number 5 of the university.
To get to the rink, you must enter the campus, walk straight from the barrier, and then turn right between the laboratory and library buildings and, passing the sports complex and the military department building, exit to the ice rink.
